I am looking to install a 6' by 50' wood fence in my backyard. I was at Home Depot today and saw a design that interested me.
I thought about the install and installing the 4x4 posts 8 foot on center and then screwing or nailing the 6'x8' panels on the face of the posts and thought about how I would install panels between the posts so that I won't lose the space from behind.
Can someone tell me how this is done http://www.imagefenceslandscapes.com/images/fences/Charleston-Style-Wood-Fence-with-6x6-Posts.jpg

If you buy a stockade fence, the most you would save is the cost of one section of fence but you'll lose a lot of support.
I've done a lot of fences but the one you posted. It looks like it connects like a PVC fence with slots in the posts.
