I have two big 48" circumference metal satellite tv dishes in good shape, powder painted gray color. I don't want them and nobody else does either. What might be a good practical idea to use them around the garden or yard or someplace like that. Birdbath ideas excluded please. And I don't want to paint anything on them either. And I don't want to spend any money.

Both of them and a 1958 Edsel would probably buy breakfast. Recycle them. I had one of those 8' ones in my yard when we bought the house. Absolutely useless, so I took it to a metal dealer and got $10 for it.

Correction to my initial post here: 48" diameter, not circumference.

I'll be happy to return the dishes to receiving satellite signals. I have 4 of the Big Ugly Dishes and a smattering of smaller ones in my yard all aimed at satellites in the Clarke Belt. I hope you are in Northern California.:)

No, I'm not even close to Northern California, I'm thousands of miles away from there.
