I have a protection one system and last night while we were painting i got the bright idea of removing the pad from the wall to paint under it. As soon as i popped the cover off it started beeping and protection one called to make sure everything was ok. Now it shows an error code 100 on the screen which blinks on and off every about 5 seconds or so. The Alarm still works but the code worries my wife. Can it be fixed without protection ones assistance?

What model is your system? (look in the metal cabinet where the battery is) There are no universal answers; gotta know what model you have.

On most recent ademco hardware, models, Check 100 would be a problem with the wireless receiver.

You tripped the tamper on your RF keypad. Disarm the system twice in a row to clear (code+1, code+1)
