Wall-mounted faucet has slow water leak in wall which has damaged the wall-mounted mirror where the hole was drilled for the faucet to protrude. What can i do to verify and stop the leak? This house is 6 years old.

Sounds like you are going to have to open the wall. Perhaps a picture would help. photobucket.com and post the link over here.
