Hubby bought some bulbs on sale, including clematis, liatris, astilbe and lupine. A reference book I use said to plant the liatris in fall or early spring. Is it too late to plant now? Is it too late to plant the clematis now? What about the astilbe and lupine? I'm in Zone 8. Thanks.
