We bought a house a year ago and we do not know nothing about house mountainance, litrally. One of the item on the wall start giving noise....
It looks like, it has some to do with the alarm system and the bottom part has sort of radio micraphone inside. I opened it and it reads as follow.
Premier PTS 15 BHSW
8 Ohm 15W
Ther are two wire inside. On the top of it there is a sealed part which have no access what so ever which gives noise. That is separate item.
We need advice on how to fix and explination what the item is!

Until someone with more knowledge chimes in ...
It sounds like it could be a Brinks security system that is still active but not monitored. If you don't want to call Brinks and reactivate it, find the main power switch and shut it off.
