Hi!
I'm a new, stay-at-home Dad (thanks Recession!), and I'm thinking I'll finally redo my kitchen backsplash. I want to do glass, but would a 4 x 4 ceramic tile look better? I've been looking onlineand found some interesting options.
Why is glass so much more expensive? Is it better or just prettier?
Thanks
Manny

Processing and making glass tile is more involved then slapping some clay together, like ceramic.
Glass tile is difficult to install for the average DIYer. It requires slightly different tools and specific adhesive.

Bigger tiles = fewer grout joints that collect spills, splatters, etc.
