In April I did a lot of research on biscuit joinery. Since I didn't want to buy a biscuit joiner for just occasional use, I was looking for an alternative.
I found that Vermont-American had made the Bis-Kit (25423) for Craftsman. It also marketed the same item as the VA Biscuit Joiner (23477).
My local Sears store had two Bis-Kits in stock, so I picked one up.
I expected that this was made for only Craftsman, and it was. So I drilled and tapped 3 new screw holes in the base of my B & D Router (7615).
The Bis-Kit comes with a Bosch Slot Cutter.
The attachment works fine and I can make a simple jig if I need to put the biscuits in at an angle.
