I have an old aluminum 6 foot slider that is missing the screen. Can I buy just a screen and insert it into the same tracks? Is it one size fits all? Is there anything else I need to know?

It would help to know the manufacturer of the door. If not, then taking pictures of the top rail and bottom rail, and exact measurements of the opening, and taking them with you to a door/window retailer, you may be able to come up with one. We have a surplus place nearby where we can buy just about anything. They have them, but you need to be careful of how they are installed, that is why I suggested the pix.

If you're not planning to change the entire door soon, don't buy a multi-fit door but take chandler's advice and have one made at a local door/window dealer.
