I bought concrete mix in 50 pound bags last year and didn't use it all. I have 12 bags that I kept in the garage, dry, and the bags have gotten "hard" but if you open one it breaks up easily. Is it still OK to use? (I am pouring into tubes for a deck foundation). Thanks. Al.

Its not recommended to use it. Once it gets partly activated it looses its strength. If you want to save a bit get a bag of just 92lb bag of Portland cement and add a shovel to each bag mix dry and mix it up. The 92 lb bag is at the Brick/masonry supply house.. Portland type (S)
