I just went through the entire carb and it now starts fine. As it warms up, the idle speed jumps dramatically. I then adjust the idle screw on the side of the carb to get idle speed back to normal. While there, it seems to load up on fuel and sputter (mini backfires).
While riding, the idle speed will jump up, which is dangerous for the kids.
This seems to relate to something which senses the engine temperature. I see the vacuum line coming into the air hose behind the air filter box, and this line is connected to a black panel on the side of the engine. Is this the source of my issue?
