I am installing engineered bamboo flooring over concrete. It's time for the t-molding, but when in place there is about a 5/16 inch gap between the bottom of the molding and the floor. The Lowe's people tell me to use enough adhesive to fill the space, but I'm wondering if that is the best way to go. The t-molding and flooring are from Lowe's and are supposedly meant to be used together...any ideas?

Welcome to the forums! I would opt to cut a 1/4" strip the width of the t base and glue it to the t before I install it. Otherwise, you will probably crack the joint by just walking on it. You will notice the flooring will give a little, but not alot.

That's what I ended up doing and it seems to be a good solution. Thanks for your input.
