Found a certified pre-owned 2008 Acura TL with all the features I am looking for.

Dealer price is $28,881; Edmunds.com lists the fair market value at $27,900.

I planning on asking for their routine maintenance package as part of the deal (usually a $800 add-on).

What offer would you make?

Is the Edmunds figure for normal dealer price of a regular used car..or for a CPO used car? I use Kelley, so not familiar with Edmunds.

The certification normally costs $500-1000 depending on brand, and then the extended warranty if included may cost $500 as well.

Sounds like its priced pretty much right on target. Offer what you want to pay, or ask for the package...all they can do is say..nope, thats the price.

I beleive it is the CPO fair market. Forgot to mention 9500 miles on the vehicle.

I will check Kelly BB.

Well, w/o knowing all the equipment or your location..Kelley is saying almost $32K for regular dealer price.

Sounds like a pretty sweet deal. I'm not as big a negotiator as some..I hate buying cars. I'd prob cut $500 off the asking and get the maintenance program.

All depends on how bad you want it and how much you can afford I guess.

I am in the SF bay area, the price is good for this market. It's fully loaded including navigation.

I checked Kelly as well; suprised to see it was $32K. I'll offer $27,000 with maintenance. I imagine we'll land somewhere around $27,500.

Thanks.
