I need to remove the lavoratory faucet set. It is a Delta wide set assembly (8"). The handles have a brass colored accent that comes off by turning. That leaves the H24 type handle. There is a hex set screw just under the accent piece, A24, on the right. It is stuck, real bad. I was able to get the hot handle off easily. I tried some blaster soaker for rust but that did not help. I cleaned it out and got the hex wrench in good but then it just turned and no gripping (appears to haqve stripped the hex faces). What is the next thing I can do to get this out? Should I drill? Should I use an easy-out? I'm stuck and don't know how to fix this.
Thanks

Yep, yer right..yer pretty much stuck. At this point I'd look at drilling then retapping with a larger stainless steel setscrew if possible, or ordering a new handle.
After the setscrew is gone, you get to deal with the handle frozen to the stem.
Good luck!

Try the easy out first. That way if you're lucky you can skip drilling a stainless set screw out and trying to then retap.SS can be tough to work with.
