Hello, I recently decided to redo an oak flooring. I have heard all-around praise regarding the ease of application, strength and lifetime of epoxy coatings. Anyways, I decided to purchase some Top Secret one-part epoxy a few months ago and it looks great, but the floor refused to dry (I can run my fingernail across the surface and make pronounced scratch marks, even after two months) and the whole mess wound up holding my project back for quite some time. I have gone to many hardware/paint stores but none of the employees seem to know what I am talking about. Do any of you know of any good two-part epoxies that are suitable for hardwood floors? I found several websites that sell two-part for cement, (the Behr two-part premium garage floor coating, for example) is it exclusively for cement or would it work on hardwood?
