I have a Craftsman air compressor that is only 3 years old, but has a problem. When I turn it on, it runs for just a few seconds and then turns off - like it's full. Then it starts up again and does the same thing. Basically it turns itself on and off over and over again. Any ideas? Thanks for any help. :wall:

1. Leaky unloader needle valve in the pressure switch will do this. 2. Burnt out or damaged contacts in the switch can't take the FLA and pop open. 3. A leak at the pressure switch connection will always short cycle the compressor.
Start with the pressure switch.
Start with the pressure switch.

Great, thanks. I'll start with that! :thinker:
