Decorating and Design - What color curtains?

Hello. I'm about to paint my master bedroom and have been having a difficult time settling on paint. After viewing several pallets I think I've found something but am afraid it might be too bright.

For the walls I have chosen Behr's "Apple Crisp". The Ceiling color is Behr's Spiced Beigh and the trim color is Behr's "Chestnut Stallion".

Will the Apple Crisp be too bright for a bedroom?

What color should I choose for curtains? The window takes up most of the end wall and needs to be chosen carefully.

This depends of the style of the furniture, light, height of the walls, etc. Can you post a picture as you did in the sofa post?

I've always found that bright colors in bedrooms mean for a brighter day. I also like the contrast of dark furniture with some brighter red colors.

Curtain color depends on furnitre, bed spread, room color. What type and color of furniture is in your bedroom?

I always like neutral curtain colors - that way, if a few years from now you change the paint color of the room, you will not have to replace the curtains.....

My bedroom is a color very similar to Apple Crisp and I love it, especially when the sunlight pours into it in the morning. But if you haven't bought any actual paint yet, please consider buying Sherwin-Williams or BennyMoore instead of Behr (see the Painting forums for the "Is Benjamin-Moore paint good" thread as to why).

if you're afraid it might be too bright, it probably will be. find the paint chip that you love, and then buy paint 2 shades lighter. it'll end up looking more like the paint chip you loved. paint on the walls always looks brighter (ie more intense) and/or darker than the paint chips.

In my opinion, the chips don't show the real color effect, because the material absorption is different, the covering and shining properties are different and the most important thing--> The light effects change the colors radically.
Paint stores sell small quantities of paint with the desired colors so, IMO, the best option is the setting of a piece of board in the room and paint it. It will be close to the final effect
