Should i use 4x8 or 4x10 or 4x12 on the ceiling or does it really matter.

Depends on how big your room is, how big your truck is, and how many people you will have working with you when you hang it. 10' sheetrock on a ceiling with 16"oc joists won't hit right, so I would stick with 8' or 12'.

If the room is longer/wider than 8', 12' boards are always best provided you have the means to handle them. Longer boards = less butt joints:thumbup:

I found it a few years ago doing an addition with 10' ceilings. Thought I had died and gone to heaven. But since then, zippo! Probably not that popular or feasible.
