I thought I had it figured out, but now I am second-guessing my decision. Here goes. We are 3 weeks into a complete kitchen redo. Hence, no pics available. Our cabinets are natural maple, our countertop is Madra Indian Slate in a honed finish, the floor will be DuPont Tuscan Stone in Sand. The appliances are all black, with black sink. Hardware and faucet are black with small gold threads. There is one north facing window of decent size, about 54". We will also have 3 recessed lights and one large overhead. Original choice was a color called pewter mug from Behr. I am thinking of trying to pick up some of the blue/gray in the counter. Other choices are light brick colors such as Iced Tea and Aztec Brick-also Behr product. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps.

Hi Halfpint47579,

Paint color advice is related with light, shadows, style, etc. This is the reason why I ask for pictures
As you are working with different colors, I'd suggest that you paint using earth colors.
These are some suggestions from the Sherwin Williams catalogue
SW 6036 Angora
SW 6064 Reticence
SW 6093 Familiar Beige

are you redoing the whole house, too? if not, surely the adjacent rooms need to be considered. what colors are in those rooms? can you pull a color from there into the kitchen?
