I just found out I don't have hot water in my spare bathroom. I have cold water in the tub and I have hot and cold water 5' away at the sink, but not in the shower. I'd appreciate any helpful hints. Thanks, Lisle

Most likely the washer on the hot side of that faucet is stuck or wedged into the opening for the water blocking the flow.I'm assuming since it's a spare bath it doesn't get used much.Type of faucet would also play into why this has happened.

It's also possible if there has been work done to water lines in your neighborhood that grit etc has blocked the line.

I have a similar problem. The cold doesn't flow in the shower of our spare bath. The faucet is a builder's grade, single knob, Moen. I see no way to get to the washers. Of course there is also no access to the rear of the shower. I would have to cut a hole in the wall and vanity to get to any of the plumbing.
