I would like to make Roman Shades with my own fabric. They don't seem that complicated. Does anyone have the know-how? Or know where I can find information on this?

Hi, well you could also get a D.I.Y book on how to make these type of blinds, you are right they are easy, you can also loan a book from your local Library and just follow the instructions, once you have made one you will can make hundreds, but it is easier to have the instructions in front of you to start with. I got simple directions from JoAnns FAbric store. The directions were free and it was quite easy. I made 4 and am pleased with the results. You can buy a fabric tape that you sew to the back of the fabric and then either sew loops on, or get the tape that has loops in it. When you are finished you thread the string through the loops....Just get the directions and it will help you.

I am sure any fabric store will have the directions in their store. Call first so you don't have to drive all over town. Good Luck!
