I am trying to install a tankless water heater and the connection to the heater itself is a 1/2" connection whereas all the water heater connectors at the hardware store are 3/4". How do I work around this? Also the instructions state that the compression fittings are designed exclusively for this unit so how do I add the hose, lol?

I know I should call a professional but money is tight plus I love challenges (as long as I don't burn down the house, lol). Thanks

I'm thinking maybe one of those small under sink/point of use types? Just a guess...

It's a Titan N120 and yes it is a 1/2" compression ring fitting. As a matter of fact, in my earlier post, I quoted the words used in their instruction booklet.

im curious what brand your dealing with. And as long as you have the flow I would just reduce/enlarge as needed to adapt to the unit. There is min flow rates on all tankless units...except the navien with built in buffer tank and re-circ pump
