Adding more attic floor space with Oriented Strand Board

I have a house in North Carolina built in 2001. Have 2 AC/Furnace units in attic. There is a ridge vent in attic. No other vents. Attic floor is insulated completely with blown in pink stuff. There are soffit vents in attic.

There is some OSB under and around the HVAC system. Can I add more (not entire attic) or will it compromise the attic environment, cause moisture, etc...

It is a 2 story house (duh..)

Thanks
Peter

Is the HVAC unit on built-up floor? If you install without raising floor, it will compress and make use-less your insulation below it. The moisture will be added to whatever you leave up there. Be safe, G
