Hi all
Okay
I have this house built in 1982
Its a Garisson house.
The front door leads to front steps ( wooden )
Its about 5 feet high from the front lawn ground level.

The steps are about 5 feet wide and extends out about 5 feet.

I am looking to extend this to be 8 feet wide and 7 feet long.

They have built these wooden steps over cement ones.
What i would like to try to do is leave the steps how they are and add extenders to the sides.
I will most likey need to put in some tubes to cement into the ground to support the additional framing.

What i will be doing with this is framing it all in and add a roof to it.

I had already posted to see how much it would cost for a framer to come over and do, and seen it would cost over 4k

I dont have that kind of money.Im a fixer upper myself but never really done the framing part.

I just need help on how to the framing part of it.Especially for the roofing.
It will have about a 22 angle pitch on the roof.

If anyone has some clips or can walk me through this.It would be awesome.

Thank you much.
