hello, i hope im posting this in the right section.. im looking for advice on how to apply some termite solution.

i bought some termidor, i had to get it off the net since you can't buy it from home depot or lowes.

from what i've read i need to dig a 6 inch wide by 6 inch deep trench about 3-4 inchs from teh foundation.

and there is my foundation question.

my house originate as a log cabin (some of the logs are still intact under the walls, it was then added on to at least 3 times (by previous owners)

it has a dirt floor underneath, no crawl space access but we had to rip up the floors in most of hte house anyway so we have access for now.. we need to get the termite solution in the ground so we can start laying floor.

the outside foundation is made of cinder blocks, it seems they only go down in the ground aprox 1 half of a block, they should go several feet from what i understand.

here in lays the problem.. if i dig a 6 inch deep trench 3 or 4 inchs from the bricks (inside and outside) im afraid this will undermind the soil the bricks are sitting on.

i need advice, a professional termite exterminator quoted me a min of 1600 dollars but it could go up to 24 or 2500 once they start work.

i would pay that except neither company i called could offer me any guarantee at all.

what should i do?
