A couple of our blinds have brown/yellow stains - they face the full sun, which may have something to do with it. Liquid soap and water don't help.

Hi and welcome to the forum! This is a problem with faux wood blinds. I believe some manufacturers offer a guarantee against it, some don't. I don't think there's any way to get it off.
