We just had drainage pan replaced under the coil because water was pooling on the floor at unit. I witnessed a scary amount of pulling, twisting, yanking, tugging and sounds I'd never heard before so they could get the coil out of, and back in to, the housing. The pan had corroded to the bottom of unit and had to be broken off in pieces. Thankfully no more pooling water, however now fridgid air is blowing from the front of the closed-up unit and water is dripping down the front. I can feel the air blowing from a few feet away. I do not want to pay to cool my basement as well as my house (yes, house is cooling). Any ideas, please help.

Sounds like two issues to me. The air should not be escaping the coil enclosurel. The air is designed to go up the plenum and to the ducts, so sealing that coil enclosure is called for. Now if it's coming down thru the furnace, the coil wasn't installed properly. All condensate (water) from the coil is designed to drip down to the coil pan and routed to the outbound condensate line which is expelled outside. So I would call them back.
