Hello Jay,
You helped me succeed with a install of the Honeywell 12 Gallon VisionPro a few months ago. I have the humidifier and the heat/ac able to run seperate with each other. The humdifier and heat is working fine. 3500 sq ft house with dual zones and i achieve 40% easily. Thanks again.

Now, the spring is here and i changed the setting from heat to auto. It seems as though the air conditioner is working a little bit funny and i feel some of the settings will be culprit. Can you tell me some of the settings again that will be connected to the auto feature? what i mean. I am kinda making these numbers up but its close...it was 83 degrees out side, cool schedule was set for house to be at 76 and heat to be on at 66. Both were showing on the screen, as they do in auto mode. The house was 73 and the ac kept coming on? The i changed the mode to cool and the same thing was happening. Cool set to 76, house at 73, and the ac kept coming on. (was not the humidifier because that was set to 30 and it was 35% in the house).

Can you also tell me how to get to the contractor setup screen again?

You are the man, and i appreciate your thoughts / ideas / help.

You would be running DE-humidify with the AC. Tap the 'more' button until you get to the de-humidify screen to see what it is set to. Most people have it set somewhere between 50-60%. If it is too low it could force your AC on depending on how the unit is configured.

zoneout may have hit it on the nail.

Check your humidity setting as he said, and see what the humidity level is in the home itself is.

If the humidity is 5% above setpoint of the de-humid setting, it will force the A/C to come on.

I set mine at 45% for de-humid, and 40% for humidify.
