[FONT="Georgia"]We have two central heat/ac units in our home. Funny thing, last fall the outdoor part of the one died. Now the indoor one of the other (we think the blower fan) has died. Rather than get an entire new system, is it possible to hook up the working outside unit to the working inside unit? They are the same size (2 ton). If so how difficult would that be?

not worth it. the a/c tech will have to move the coil to the working unit then move all the pipes and stuff. it would be cheaper to fix the indoor unit.

Might be able to pull the fan motor and fan from the one and move to the other IF they are really identical/compatible.
