Hi

I just wired up a new DSC PC2550Rk keypad to the panel . The keypad lights up but does not function in anyway, so what could be wrong?

I am familiar for example with ademco panels which I have to setup the keypad address to function, but I am not sure if this is the same case for PC2550RK and DSC panel?.

No, there's no special setup or addressing. Are you sure you are connecting this to a PC 2550 motherboard? DSC systems of this vintage have specific keypad models that have to match the system model.
