Can anyone give me instructions for a wallpaper technique using brown paper bags and polyurethane mixed with water? I had seen the technique on television and the show said that you had to be very careful in the proportion of water to polyurethane or it would not work. The show never gave the proportions. I would love to do this and no one knows what I am talking about at the home centers. Please HELP!

Hi TinaW, it sounds like from your question that this method may be a one step process in that you would glue the bags with the polyurethane and apply to the wall and then brush a coat on the front. You may want to try the acrylic polyurethane without thinning because it is very thin the way it comes. If it is to thick add a little water. You may want to do a sample or two of the topcoat. Further thinning may be needed to get the look you are after....Mike
