Found 5 of these suckers in my shower. Is that common? sucked them up with a vacuum, came back 2 hours later and there's another one. Wife said she flushed a few away a couple days ago.

Yes, that is a termite.

Yeah that is a termite. It is a dry wood termite to be exact. That means the whole colony is living in the wood of your home. Worst yet is the fact that since what you are seeing is the reproductive class of the colony it means that they are well established. Also spot treating is not an option as you most likely have multiple colonies. You should only consider fumigation at this point. Be very wary of any company that tries to sell you on a spot treatment.
