Our daughter wrote on our wallpaper with a ballpoint pen and we can't seem to get the stain out. Any suggestions?

Hang a picture over it.I wish I had more to offer but that is one thing I have never found a way to do.Have you posted this problem in the Cleaning forum? The mod there is very good....Mike

Hi from the cleaning section! The answer depends on what type of wallpaper you have.

Most ballpoint inks are solvent sensitive. For ballpoint ink our first recommendation is rubbing alcohol but its ability to be used depends on what type of wallpaper you have. Test in a small hidden spot first to make sure it does not damage the wallpaper.

If this does not work post over in the cleaning section and one of us will be there. P.S. Tell us what type of paper you have i.e. vinyl, flocked, grasscloth, etc.
