I have stained all my cabinets but there are two small sections facing oven that have a laminate on particle board. Should i use veneer here or are there any suggestions for this problem.

Staining a veneer would probably look better in the long run - the major problem will be finding a veneer that matches the wood grain of the cabinets.
Priming and painting would be easier and faster - possibly an accent color rather than trying to match the rest of the cabinets...
