I recently had my foundation done and the WHOLE HOUSE needed to be done. As a result I have no carpeting and they put huge holes in my Mexican tile to put the pilings in. My question is: can I just lay vinyl on top of the existing tile without having to have it all pulled up? I'm obviously on a very tight budget after having spent 20k on my foundation (!) and I just wanted to do everything in vinyl or (if it's cheap enough) laminate. I have two dogs and a 3 year old and we'll be having a second one within the next year or so...so I'm not a big fan of carpet and all the hassle and care that has to go into it. Any help would be HIGHLY appreciated!
