Hi
Our system has been (self) installed for about 2 years. From time to time it acts weird. I had to replace a fishy keypad last December. The backup battery is pretty new. The last couple of weeks - about 2 hours after setting the system in 'stay' mode the system starts an audible countdown. If I don't get to the keypad in time the system starts a warble like alarm (unlike the usual piercing siren). Anybody have any ideas ? I haven't touched the programming stuff in months.

It sounds like you accidentally turned on the auto schedule feature, somewhere along the line.
Look in your user manual under "User Schedules". In my copy it's on page 37.
