I have a Craftsman shop vac that I want to connect to a couple of DeWalt tools (miter saw and belt sander) but obviously the connections are different. I have bought a 2.5" to 1.25" hose from Craftsman but the Craftsman hose pushes inside the fitting and the DeWalt 1.25" fitting is too large despite being nominally the same size. Has anybody come across a working adapter for this purpose before I start making one up when I'd rather be making something else?
