I am getting ready to wallpaper two walls in my kitchen. I have read up on the instructions of how to do this, however the paper didn't come with its own instructions. How do I even know if it is pre-pasted. And how long should I let it paste and book?

Where did you get your paper? If you ordered from a wallpaper book check the book. It will give you information on pre-pasted, etc. Also, if you have further questions ask for assistance at store or check wallpaper book for 800# to call for info on your particular paper.

You should be able to moisten the first inch or so of one of the rolls with water to see if it gets tacky. After a moment rub the paper between your thumb and first finger and if it is pre-pasted your fingers should start to feel the glue getting tacky as the water begins to dry.If you don't feel any stick it is going to be an unpasted paper. In general all papers should be booked for 3 to 10 minutes.I would book the first one 5 minutes and see if it installed well.If it is to sticky to work with try 3 minutes and if to messy wait 10 to 15 minutes.
