I have a Trane weathertron thermostat with 8 wires, R,C,O,W,B,G,Y & T . How do you wire this up to a Honeywell RTH7500D the insructions do not list a T wire anywhere ?

T is not used on the Honeywell as it is for compressor lockout.

As said.

T is not needed even if you put in a new weathertron.
