After reading most of the threads that seemed similar to my problem I think I have narrowed down my problem to the fan, contactor and/or transformer. When I turn on my a/c the outside comes on like normal and the inside sounds like it clicks on but the actual "blowing" part never happens. I left it on the other day for about 15 minutes to see if it would just fix itself and the coils started to freeze up. I turned it off. What do you think?

Well, the outside unit is doing it's job. Your only issue is with the blower or controls for it. Either juice is not making it's way to the blower from the controls- or the blower motor is not working from either: The blower motor capactior is shot, or the blower fan is seized up, or that motor itself is shot somehow.
We can inform you more on each of this issues if need be. And let us know if you have a voltmeter.

Thank you ecman51. I do not have a voltmeter. Assuming it is the blower or the blower motor (blower motor capacitor) roughly how much money and work would be involved? Is the blower fan one in the same with the above two? Where would we open to even check these. The unit is very old (15 years old) but has been working fine and never given us problem.

With outdoor unit online and no fan, contactor and transformer are proved to be in operation.
As EC said could be fan motor, fan cap, or what ever controls the fan motor.
You have a fan in the indoor unit. It is powered by a motor. The morot has a capacitor. The motor also has a relay or contactor that turns power on and off.
Motor, capacitor, relay, or a combination thereof has failed. Make and model may help us narrow it down. But, without a volt/ohm meter and knowledge in it's use and safety precautions, we may not beable to help much.
You may want to just call a good service company and explain indoor fan is failed in some way. Be prepared for the service tech to sell a replacement unit.
