I have an 18h b& s that 4 days agao wouldn't start without spraying gas into carb. I took the varb off cleaned it and it started up but the gov kept reving up and down and running weird. I went out yesterday to mess with it somemore and now it wont start at all. battery is new spark plug in ok and air fitler fine,. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? My yard is looking like a jungle now after 2 weeks

Well, You can start by posting the engine model and type numbers so we can see which 18 you have. It still sounds like a carb issue.
