I have a broken board on the back of my couch. The board seems to be the upper frame support for the back cushion. The cushion doesn't really sag so I was wondering if there was a way to fix that board without cutting into the fabric. Any furniture repair people out there?

Depending on the style of the couch you may be able to access the interior fairly easily.
Some of the couches have a metal "toothed" strip that runs from top to bottom on either end of the back.
Loosening these (carefully) and pulling the staples at the bottom will allow you to lift the entire back covering to expose the interior.
If the back is like this, reinstalling the upholstery is fairly simple: stretch the fabric down to the bottom and restaple, starting at the center and working toward the ends. Use the "toothed" strip at the ends to pull the fabric taut and hammer back in place.
