If you mean a keypad for a DSC PC1500, good luck with that. It's a long discontinued system, and a pretty limited one.
"Smart 1"? Your guess is as good as mine. It could be a regional rebranded custom system, or it could be one of the small makers that were diving into security in the early to mid 1980's.

the SMART 1
i think is a device that is connected with an RJ-38 jack, and all calls are routed in & out of it to make the 10+XXX long distance routing number
this way ALL calls regardless of long distance carrier is made using the company you are paying for.
a black plastic box, some had metal tabs to allow wall mounting and required an A/C power supply with a 3 wire molded plug.
they also have either a 9 pin or 25 pin computer (serial) interface connector for programming
some were / are single line models, others i have are 4 line models

Ah, that would explain why it's not in my alarm database.
Oddly enough, if you don't carefully pick the search terms, specialty telecom hardware can be _very_ difficult to get meaningful websearch results from. They tend more proprietary than the alarm makers.

I figured that stuff was useless.
I found a place near my home that sells the DCS 832 unit with a bunch of sensors for under 200CAN. I will buy that instead.
i eventually found a manual for the smart-1... dont think i can find a use for it.
Thanks for the help.
