I did not have installer code so i shorted and got back to factory default. I think i programed right but it does not seemlike any of the zones are active

Have you had a chance to read the sticky titled "Alarm Forum FAQ: Please read before posting"?

We're gonna need more specifics, and trust me, you are far from the first to default a DSC power series panel.
