Is there an easy way to transfer music from cassette to CD? I no longer have cassette players in my car and truck. Thanks.

The easiest way is with a cassette/CD recorder dubbing machine. You will need to buy special "audio" CD blanks though.

The next easiest is to record them to the computer and burn them with your computer's cd writer, which can use the cheaper data CD blanks. You would connect your cassette player to the computer's line in and recordwith an audio package such as Audacity.

WP...just wait til next week, there will be a spammer telling you exactly how to "Transfer Any Audio File...etc etc etc" lol

Anyway, yeah it would be easiest with a deck with line out jacks..you could do it with a player with headphone jack, but you have to adjust the levels for it to sound good.

Special 'audio' cds only cost more, it's marketing.
Standard CDs are fine - no difference.

If you were making CDs on the computer though.

Stanadalone audio CD recorders are prevented from using data CDs for computer writers, because they have a coding on them that standalone recorders are programmed to reject those blanks..
