My Whirlpool Gold Microwave seems like it is very noisy. It is a built-in type over my oven. It was put in in 2005 when our home was built and over the years it seems like it has gotten really loud sort of like a vibrating buzzing sound. Any ideas of why or what to do? Thanks.

I took the surround (pretty cover that makes the microwave look built in above the oven) off and found that the actual metal outside cover of the microwave is vibrating. If I put gentle pressure on the side the noise stops. My hubby is making a wood block to wedge against the side of the microwave to put constant pressure on that area. Woo hoo no more noise.
