I have a Craftsman LT-4000 with 42" deck 13 HP Kohler. It starts up, but the blades will not engage. Do you think it could be a safety sensor that has gone bad??? Thanks in advance!!

What model mower is it? Electric PTO or manual? Does the engine die when you engage the blades?
