I recently found this table online in an apartment listing, and I am looking for one just like it for my home.

Specifically, I need a table that 1) is counter height, 2) has a modern, metal base, 3) has a light wood top.
I have already checked Ikea, CB2, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn, Room and Board, West Elm, Target, Sears, JCPenney, DWR and Macy's.
I am looking for a table exactly like the one that I linked to. Specific recommendations are appreciated!

Well, that apartment is in Italy, styles are very very different over there. You'll have to start looking at stores that carry modern designs. Or talk to a metal fabrication shop about the frame, and a cabinet/countertop shop about the top.
