I need to do regular maintenace on my craftsman mower model 944.36580 Can anyone provide instructions on how to change the oil, oil filter, fuel filter, etc? What type of oil and parts do I need to buy. Where can I download a maintenance manual .pdf file? Thanks.

I don't know what engine you have or what you need, but generally you'd replace the spark plug, clean or replace the air filter, clean or replace and oil the precleaner if equipped, sharpen or replace the blades, inspect belts, pump up tires, replace oil filter if equipped, replace fuel filter, grease fittings, check pulleys and bearings, clean off deck, and give it a good visual checkover and fix or replace anything that you notice that is wrong. Most engines use SAE30 oil available in any automotive department.
