How do I get moles out of my yard without putting poison into or on top of the ground? I have 3 small children that love to play and dig, so poison is not an option. thank you

Dad used traditional mole traps which work o.k. so long as they re-use the hole. He had the most success standing over a new hole being dug with a rifle, but most cities don't allow gunfire these days.
There are also some options to drive them to your neighbor's lawn that occasionally work. I'm sure you've seen the 'pest away' underground noise makers.
The second is putting human hair in the hole. We tried it one year, and they did abandon those tunnels. Didn't stop them from digging other places or nearby tunnels.
Good luck.

The moles this year are going beserk. The damage to my lawn is pervasive and I've had it with this little ba******. I'll be purchasing a few of these traps @ amazon. The reviews are for the most part good and people have been pretty successful in catching the critters.
Amazon.com: Victor 0631 Out of Sight Mole Trap: Grocery (http://www.amazon.com/Victor-0631-Sight-Mole-Trap/dp/B00004RAMY/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&s=grocery&qid=1256996926&sr=8-6)
I alos might go for these Amazon.com: Motomco LTD 39966 Tomcat Mole Killer: Kitchen & Dining (http://www.amazon.com/Motomco-39966-Tomcat-Mole-Killer/dp/B000FBQJA4/ref=pd_rhf_shvl_1)
Question - Does anyone here know what other animals prey on moles?
Thanks

Yeah, wanna rent my dog? She hates them and squirrels. Really, I'm not sure they have natural predators for moles. Good advice, all, though.
